Washington Elementary serves approximately 150 students in grades K-6. As a result of a dedicated faculty, hard working students, excellent parental support, and a strong academic focus, Washington has earned recognition as a National Title I Distinguished School. Congratulations Washington Community!
Washington has been awarded the National Title 1 Distinguished School Award for Okalahoma. A maximum of two schools from each state may receive the award and Washington will represent Oklahoma as its school that exemplifies "closing the achievement gap between student groups". A staff delegation will be going to Washington D.C. in January to represent the school at the National Title 1 Conference and Distinguished School Parade. Watch here over the next few weeks for updates and more information as we celebrate our achievement through this prestigious award.
