In 2007 the citizens of Pryor decided it was time for a change. Change from part time Mayor to full time. I was elected and became Pryor first fulltime Mayor. I take the job very seriously and try to treat people equally.

I remain committed to improving the quality of life for all citizens of Pryor, Oklahoma. By establishing a community based on equality, financial stability and economic growth we will constantly be improving the quality of life. I have committed to the continual partnering with Pryor Public Schools, Mid America Industrial Park, Chamber of Commerce and numerous other organizations. The City must provide the infrastructure to bring business, tourism and enhance the school system with recreational improvements. (Ball fields, tennis courts, swimming, golf and others) These improvements also provide a place for the citizens to utilize. In today’s economy we must come together as one to make the best use of each facility and every dollar.

As we see the Recreation Center being paid off eight years early it is now time to utilize those same tax dollars to make additional improvements to the City. We will be going to the citizens to extend the sales tax to build new buildings, expand library and park improvements.

The City has received over $1.4 million dollars in grants since I became full time Mayor. These grants allow the City to extend the funds available for additional improvements. I love Pryor and feel it is an honor to be Mayor. My door is always open.
